  Double thick elevator pads are designed to provide extra protection for more extreme conditions. Double thick pads are made from two pads sewn together and can be manufactured with pockets to support rigid barriers. Please include specific requirements in order notes.

Hanging Method

Select the hanging method you will use to hang your elevator pads.

Grommets & Studs Hang pads from cab studs and grommets.

StudStrip® & Studs Eliminate grommet measurements with Palmer StudStrip®.

Clamps Eliminate grommets with Palmer Adapt-A-Clamps®.

Hooks Hang pads from walls or ceilings with Palmer hooks. Some hooks require grommets and/or studs.

Height & Width

Measure the height and width of each cab wall. Make sure to subtract 4″ from the height. Fire codes require that all elevator pads be at least 4″ from the floor. For help measuring, see How to Measure. All dimensions are in inches.

Grommet Spacing

If your pads require grommets, enter the grommet spacing in the table below or select "use standard spacing". For standard grommet spacing, grommets are equally spaced 12" to 15" apart and 1.25" from the top of the pad. All dimensions are in inches.
